Tom, Nick and Rod played in a charity basketball tournament this summer.
They made it to the semi-finals and I could not have been prouder. We turned out in true tribe fashion...in mass and with friends!
I know that most people just don't know what to make of our family...but let me tell you...when you need a cheering section..it doesn't get any better then this.
Tom was a little sore after...okay he was a lot sore...he bruised a couple of ribs...rolled an ankle...but my man ran circles around some of those kids.
It may never be easy but it will always be worth it.

I love a man who is secure in who he is...
We play a lot of cards during the summer. When the boys were playing cards the girls needed something to keep themselves busy...enough said!
It may never be easy but it will always be worth it.

Say hello to my little friend
At the beginning of the summer I began to see Hummingbirds in our back yard. No one believed me...but I knew what I saw.
I insisted that we head immediately to Home Depot and get a feeder for my new little friends. I was sure that they would tell their friends and before you knew it I would have a bazzilion Hummingbirds humming around.
I guess I was not fast enough with the feeder...this little guy came right into the garage. Of course no one could deny the Hummer's existence after the garage sighting!
It may never be easy but it will always be worth it.

Mannnnnn over board!!!!!
Nice and clean under the bed I see....
Every summer there is always a casualty.
This time it was not a child...it was Noel's bed.
What do you get when you combine 6 girls, lots of soda, a late night and a twin bed? Fire wood.
It may never be easy but it will always be worth it.
